“You will play the game the way WE want you to” – Niantic 24/9/15

Most of the problems surrounding this game are a direct result of Niantic being completely out of touch with the actual players and what the players want to do. Now they have completely wrecked the raid system and made it absolutely no fun at all to be obliterated by charge moves that spam like fast moves. Also all of the dust spent on powering up respective type kings like Kartana is just wiped out by their incompetent changes to code that results in completely random pokemon now being ideal choices over the former obviously powerful mons. Also GBL lag is ridiculous and makes every match a random result based on who lags at what point. I can only try to imagine the spaghetti code they have generated, but their conscious choices with regards to play mechanics is the most frustrating thing. This game could be absolutely incredible if Niantic employed people who actually play the game and not just money hungry executives and programmers who focus on code over real life gameplay.
